College of Nyíregyháza is organizing an international conference:

 

Conference on Dyadic Analysis and Related Fields with Applications

 

 dedicated to the

75th birthday of Professor Ferenc Schipp,

to the

70th birthday of Professor William Wade

and to the

65th birthday of Professor Péter Simon

 

 

The Conference will take place on June 1-6, 2014 at the campus of College of Nyíregyháza, Hungary.

The scientific programme will start on Monday morning, June 2, will end on Thursday evening June 5. There will be a Poster Session at the conference. All attendees are invited to contribute a 30 minutes talk or a poster related to the topics of the Conference. The conference is organized only for invited participants.

 

(June 1, Sunday is the day of arrival, June 6, Friday is the day of departure.)

 

The main topic of the conference is the study of approximation based on locally constant orthonormal systems and the application of the results in different areas of digital signal processing and optimization. Also to show the latest results obtained in dyadic analysis and related topics.  It is also of main interest of the conference the application of dyadic analysis in other various fields.

 

This conference also aims to be a forum for researchers and visitors interested in this research field.

Registration fee is 150 Euros which covers the cost of conference materials, meals (except breakfast), coffee breaks and social events. This fee does not contain accommodation.

In due time the booklet of abstracts of the talks planned will be downloadable from this website. Please send the abstract of your talk in formats LaTeX and PDF not later than 15th, May to darfa14@nyf.hu

 

A special issue of Acta Mathematica Academiae Paedagogiace Nyíregyháziensis, emath journal of Institute of Mathematics and Computer Science, College of Nyiregyhaza http://www.emis.de/journals/AMAPN/ will be dedicated to the talks of the participants.
